Developmental Psychology Practicum - Diagnosis and Counseling of Parents and Children

The training will provide participants with a multidimensional and contemporary view of developmental psychology from the moment of conception to adulthood. The main focus of the practicum will be psycho-biological theory, according to which reactions, behavior and mental processes in the human organism are entirely related to the survival of the biological system. Each participant will get acquainted in detail with the key and sensitive periods of child development and will gain knowledge on how to use this information as a diagnostic criterion on the one hand, and on the other - as starting points in drawing up a therapeutic plan for working with parents and children.

• Consideration of changes in the biological organism as adaptation mechanisms aimed at supporting the functioning of a parent-child system
• Purpose of the seminar: To provide theoretical and practical knowledge of the psycho-biological approach, presentation of tools for working with parents and diagnostics.
